Mexico stocks are up at the close; S&P/BMV IPC rose 1.33% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Mexico, it gained 1.33%.

The best performers of the session were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV: ), which rose 5.18% or 7.83 points to trade at 158.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB De CV Class B (BMV: ) added 5.07% or 16.97 points to 352.76 and Grupo Mexico SAB De CV (BMV: ) added 2, 77% or 2.74 points to 101.26 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV (BMV: ), which declined 1.58% or 2.70 points to trade at 168.60 at the close. Becle SA (BMV: ) declined 1.53% or 0.50 points to end at 32.17 and Also SAB De CV (BMV: ) declined 1.39% or 0.79 points to 56.04.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Mexico Stock Exchange 188 to 65, with 9 ending unchanged.

Shares of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB De CV Class B (BMV:) rose to 52-week highs; up 5.07% or 16.97 to 352.76.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.66%, or 16.80, to $2,554.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 2.01%, or 1.50, to $76.02 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.22% or 0.17, to 78.75 dollars per barrel.

USD/MXN rose 0.08% to 19.85, while EUR/MXN rose 0.03% to 21.99.

US dollar index futures rose 0.31% to 101.30.
