Unison’s RCM&D acquires Virginia benefits firm MillenGroup

Maryland-based insurance, benefits and risk management firm RCM&D has announced the acquisition of MillenGroup, a Richmond, Virginia-based benefits consulting firm.

Laura Millen, founder and senior managing partner, and John Millen, co-founder and managing partner, will join RCM&D’s Richmond employee benefits leadership team, according to the announcement.

RCM&D is a company of Unison Risk Advisors, which was formed through the 2020 merger of RCM&D and Oswald. In 2023, Unison added NSI Insurance Group as its third partner.

The MellenGroup deal officially closed on August 1, 2024.
