Denmark shares rise at close of trade; The OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.10% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, it rose 1.10% to hit a fresh one-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ), which rose 1.72% or 15.00 points to 886.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: ) added 1.72% or 15.90 points to end at 938.10 and Tryg A/S (CSE: ) was up 1.42% or 2.10 points up to 150.40 at the end of trading.

The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: ), which fell 2.70% or 33.50 points to trade at 1,205.00 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE: ) declined 1.76% or 11.50 points to 642.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE: ) declined 1.51% or 150.00 points to at 9,795.00.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange 75 to 56, with 22 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 2.60%, or 1.97, to $73.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 2.09%, or 1.65, to $77.17 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.90 % or 23.05 to $2,537.25 per troy ounce.

USD/DKK rose 0.18% to 6.75, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

US dollar index futures rose 0.29% to 101.57.
