Morocco shares fall at close of trade; All Moroccan stocks were down 0.01% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, down 0.01%.

The best performers of the session were IB Maroc Com SA (CSE: ), which rose 9.97% or 3.86 points to trade at 42.56 at the close. Meanwhile, M2M Group (CSE: ) added 5.98% or 30.50 points to end at 540.50 and Salafi (CSE: ) was up 5.98% or 31.10 points to trade at 551.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ste de Travaux de Realization d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE: ), which fell 9.98% or 6.19 points to trade at 55.81 at the close. Residences Dar Saada SA (CSE: ) declined 9.93% or 8.40 points to end at 76.20 and S2M (CSE: ) declined 9.31% or 25.50 points to end at 248.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 32 to 29 and 5 ended unchanged.

Shares of IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.97% or 3.86 to 42.56.

Crude oil for October delivery fell 2.67 percent, or 2.03, to $73.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 2.18%, or 1.72, to $77.10 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.88 % or 22.60, to $2,537.70 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.05% to 10.77, while USD/MAD rose 0.10% to 9.72.

US dollar index futures rose 0.21% to 101.49.
