Finland stocks rise at close of trade; The OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.37% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the Helsinki close, 0.37% added to hit a new 3-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE: ), which rose 3.33% or 0.31 points to trade at 9.47 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmet Oyj (HE: ) added 1.84% or 0.47 points to end at 25.95 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE: ) was up 1.39% or 0.16 points to trade at 11.69 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE: ), which declined 3.16% or 0.69 points to trade at 21.15 at the close. Kesko Oyj (HE: ) declined 0.49% or 0.09 points to end at 18.29 and Mandatum Oyj (HE: ) decreased 0.35% or 0.02 points to 4.28.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 103 to 65, with 22 ending unchanged.

Brent crude for November delivery fell 1.99%, or 1.57, to $77.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude oil for October delivery fell 2.48%, or 1.88, to $74.03 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.99% or 25.40, to $2,534.90 a troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.12% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures rose 0.29% to 101.57.
