Stocks in Poland are up at the close of trade; WIG30 rose 1.89% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Warsaw, 1.89% added to hit a new one-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WA: ), which rose 8.32% or 0.56 points to trade at 7.34 at the close. Meanwhile, Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA: ) added 5.77% or 0.21 points to end at 3.76 and Enea SA (WA: ) was up 4.34% or 0.46 points to trade at 11.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Text SA (WA: ), which fell 1.67% or 1.30 points to trade at 76.60 at the close. CD PROJEKT SA (WA: ) declined 0.93% or 1.70 points to end at 181.40 and Allegro (WA: ) declined 0.50% or 0.19 points to end at 37.88.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 264 to 245, with 111 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 0.19%, or 0.14, to $73.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 0.01%, or 0.01, to $76.92 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.22 % or 5.65 to $2,533.25 per troy ounce.

EUR/PLN fell 0.18% to 4.27, while USD/PLN fell 0.37% to 3.86.

US dollar index futures were down 0.01% at 101.61.
