AI tokens are reporting gains, reversing sharp declines last week

  • Several AI tokens, including NEAR, ASI and RENDER, rose on Monday as the crypto AI category bounced back.
  • The NEAR protocol came together following the announcement of a partnership with the Libre tokenization platform.
  • ASI has also grown thanks to a new partnership with GameSwift AI to help drive accelerated game integration.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) crypto category posted gains on Tuesday as most of the sector’s tokens including NEAR, ASI, ICP, RENDER and TAO rose.

NEAR, ASI, ICP stack up alongside other AI tokens

AI tokens led the crypto market’s recovery on Tuesday as the sector’s cryptocurrencies staged a rally in the Asian session.

NEAR Protocol rose 3.9% after Libre, a startup focused on tokenization, announced that it has partnered with companies such as Hamilton Lane to launch more digital funds on the NEAR blockchain.

The company said on Monday that the partnership will allow users of the NEAR protocol to access a Hamilton Lane credit fund, Brevan Howard Master Fund and Blackrock ICS Money Market Fund.

Additionally, ASI jumped over 6% after announcing a new partnership with GameSwift AI, a Layer-2 blockchain designed for gaming. However, some members of the crypto community suggest that the asset may see a price correction.

Meanwhile, TAO, RENDER and ICP increased by 4.9%, 4.7% and 4.7% respectively. However, TAO is down on the weekly chart, losing more than 16% after a 46% drop in its trading volume.

RENDER and ICP are also down 18% and 7% on the weekly chart, but could experience some positive investor sentiment as the new month begins.

Meanwhile, Phoenix, a cryptanalytic platform, revealed its top AI projects through social activity on Monday.

The AI crypto category fell over the weekend, fueled by massive selling pressure following the release of Nvidia’s earnings report. However, these tokens may be starting to recover, as Nvidia’s higher-than-expected earnings led several Wall Street banks to raise their price targets for NVDA stock.
