The first leg against Norwich on Sunday ended in a 0-0 draw, but Daniel Farke’s side made an excellent return to their home turf.

Leeds took the lead after just seven minutes when Ilia Gruev’s free-kick caught Canaries goalkeeper Angus Gunn off guard.

Joel Piroe scored their second midway through the first half before Illan Meslier denied Josh Sargent for an instant Norwich reply.

The visitors were made to pay five minutes from the break when Georginio Rutter emphatically scored Leeds’ third to put them in full control.
