Mark Labbett from ITV’s The Chase supported him as he shares a special relationship update

Mark Labbett has been inundated with support as he shared a special relationship update.

The 58-year-old is famous for his role as one of Britain’s top quiz brains in The Chase. Away from the screen, Mark regularly keeps fans up to date with his life on Instagram.

He is happily in a relationship with Hayley Palmer and took to social media to reveal that today marks their one year anniversary. The two met during an appearance on her Sky TV show, Saturday Night with Hayley Palmer.

Hayley has previously spoken about their relationship and said the Beast impressed during an 80s quiz on the show. However, she really fell for him when she saw his Toby Carvery Golden Book.

She took to Instagram and said: “Just to confirm yes Mark has a Toby Carvery Gold card and I’m trying to get my hands on it.” Mark took to social media today to reveal that they returned to the scene of their first date to mark the occasion.

She said: “One year anniversary. Same beach, same bank :).”

Hayley weighed in on the comments and said: “So happy.” Fans and followers accepted the comments and shared messages of support.

Paul Chuckle said, “Happy Birthday.” Cam added: “The best couple, you pour happiness together.”

Jack posted: “Congratulations!” Sean added: “Happy birthday, both of you.”
