Portugal Stocks Fall at Close of Trade; PSI was down 0.99% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The best performers of the session were Jeronimo Martins SGPS SA (ELI: ), which rose 1.74% or 0.29 points to trade at 16.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae SGPS SA (ELI: ) was up 0.74% or 0.01 points to end at 0.96 and Ibersol SGPS (ELI: ) was up 0.56% or 0.04 points to end at 7. 24 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Galp Energy Nom (ELI: ), which declined 4.12% or 0.78 points to trade at 18.04 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI: ) declined 2.24% or 0.01 points to end at 0.41 and Altri SGPS SA (ELI: ) declined 1.79% or 0.09 points to 4. 83.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.06% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures rose 0.14% to 101.76.
