South Korea is investigating Telegram over false criminal allegations

South Korean police are investigating Telegram for allegedly facilitating fake sex crimes. They plan to cooperate with French investigators following the detention in France of Telegram founder Pavel Durov for similar investigations. “Telegram does not readily provide investigative data, such as account information, to us or other government investigative bodies, including those in the US.” (…)
