The Atlantic could see its next storm within a week: Weather Watch

The Atlantic hurricane season continues to go through the traditionally most active time of the year without a storm, however, there is a growing chance that may change soon. Two systems — one in the Caribbean and the other near Cabo Verde — have a 40 percent chance of becoming a storm in the coming week.

On the other side of the world, Typhoon Yagi is strengthening as it makes its way towards China. The storm has already killed at least 15 people in the Philippines and forced thousands to flee to safer ground.
