Barron Trump Starts NYU: Where Presidents’ Children Went to College

  • Many children of US presidents attend their parents’ alma mater.
  • Others choose to chart their own paths at another school or hold off on graduating altogether.
  • Barron Trump recently started his freshman year at New York University.

Deciding where to go to college is a big moment for any teenager, but when you’re the child of a president and the whole world is watching to see where you’ll end up, the pressure is even greater.

The announcement of where Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s youngest child, will go has been highly anticipated since his father teased his decision back in July.

Unlike his brothers, Barron does not attend his father’s alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania. Instead, he’ll be at NYU this year, which costs $72,080 as a commuter student. (The New York Post reported that Barron is expected to live at Trump Tower and commute.)

This is where every child of a president has attended college since JFK’s children, Caroline and JFK Jr.
