Mexico stocks are up at the close; S&P/BMV IPC rose 0.43% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the end in Mexico, it won 0.43%.

The best performers of the session were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (BMV: ), which rose 3.46% or 5.33 points to trade at 159.59 at the close. Meanwhile, Gruma SAB de CV (BMV: ) rose 3.45% or 12.53 points to end at 376.00 and Grupo Bimbo, SAB De CV (BMV: ) was up 3.09% or 12.53 points to end at 376.00. or 2.13 points to 70.99 in late trading.

The worst performers of the session were Cemex SAB de CV (BMV: ), which fell 3.13% or 0.37 points to trade at 11.47 at the close. GCC SAB de CV (BMV: ) declined 2.68% or 3.98 points to end at 144.61 and Industrias Penoles Sab De CV (BMV: ) declined 2.21% or 5.20 points to 230.01.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 125 to 119, with 16 ending unchanged.

Shares of GCC SAB de CV (BMV:) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.68% or 3.98 to 144.61.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.14%, or 3.45, to $2,526.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery fell 1.55%, or 1.09, to $69.25 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract climbed 0.03% or 0.02 to $72.75 per barrel.

USD/MXN rose 0.04% to 19.93, while EUR/MXN fell 0.04% to 22.09.

US dollar index futures fell 0.53% to 101.23.
