Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), Switzerland’s largest cantonal bank, has partnered with Crypto Finance AG to offer crypto asset services to its customers. This partnership represents a major step in promoting the wider acceptance of cryptocurrencies in Switzerland.

ZKB is a partner with Crypto Finance

Crypto Finance AG, a FINMA (Financial Market Supervisory Authority) regulated provider of institutional trading, custody and staking for digital assets, has announced a partnership with Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), which has selected it as a service partner crypto asset brokerage. The collaboration will allow customers to trade Bitcoin and Ether through ZKB’s mobile app, eBanking and other existing platforms.

The new crypto offering from Switzerland’s largest cantonal bank was launched on Wednesday and is mainly aimed at retail customers and third-party banks.

“Our recently launched cryptocurrency offering offers a high level of security and allows the integration of other currencies and applications,” says Alexandra Scriba, Head of Institutional and Multinational Clients at Zürcher Kantonalbank.

In addition to giving ZKB clients access to crypto assets, the collaboration highlights the growing integration of digital assets into traditional finance. It underlines Switzerland’s expanding role as a leading hub for digital assets and financial technology.

“We are very proud to support Switzerland’s largest cantonal bank in the launch of their crypto offering. This is another important milestone for the broad acceptance of crypto in Switzerland,” Stijn Vander Straeten, CEO of Crypto Finance AG, said in a blog post.
