A famous cruise line with a casino, nightclub and swimming pools will arrive in Liverpool

A luxury cruise ship with its own casino, nightclub and swimming pools is set to arrive in Liverpool.

Celebrity Silhouette will arrive in town on Saturday 18th May as part of its journey from Holland. Spread over eight decks, the ship boasts 1,451 cabins, including a number of different suites with private verandas.

The cruise ship, operated by Celebrity Cruises, began its journey from Rotterdam in the Netherlands on May 13, before traveling to Dover, followed by Waterford and Cork in Ireland. It will dock in Liverpool between 9pm and 5pm on Saturday 18 May before heading to Scotland. The ship’s final destination will be back in the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Friday 24 May.

Tourists are spoiled for choice when it comes to how to spend their time on board, from a dip in the pool to a trip to the theater or a night at the Quasar nightclub. Those looking to unwind can head to the on-board adult spa and Persian garden.

The Solarium also offers an adults-only space with a pool, hot tub and waterfalls. There are also a number of shops on board, an art gallery, a fitness center and a hair salon.

Guests can go to a selection of different bars, from Craft Social Bar to Sunset Bar, Spa Café and Sky Observation Lounge. On-board restaurants include everything from sushi to French and Italian cuisine and a steakhouse.

Blu is an exclusive on-board restaurant for those staying in AquaClass apartments. The Retreat also promises an “exclusive experience” with its own sun terrace, lounge and award-winning private restaurant Luminae.
