Russian stocks rise at close of trade; MOEX Russia rose 0.13% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Russia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Moscow, it was up 0.13%.

The best performers of the session on the were Ros Agro PLC (MCX: ), which rose 5.77% or 64.00 points to trade at 1,174.00 at the close. Meanwhile, VK Company Ltd DRC (MCX: ) added 3.01% or 10.20 points to end at 349.00 and ALROSA ao (MCX: ) was up 2.94% or 1.43 points to trade at 50.15 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Gazprom PAO (MCX: ), which fell 0.63% or 0.78 points to 122.98 at the close. AFK Sistema (MCX: ) declined 0.56% or 0.09 points to end at 16.13 and Unipro (MCX: ) declined 0.42% or 0.01 points to end at 1. 67.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 133 to 107, with 13 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.64%, or 16.30, to $2,526.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery fell 1.43%, or 0.99, to $68.16 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 1.64% or 1.19 to $71.50 per barrel.

USD/RUB was up 2.38% at 90.35, while EUR/RUB was up 2.15% at 100.16.

US dollar index futures rose 0.08% to 101.15.
