The man left with “cut injuries”, while two others were injured in the incident in Coventry

A man has been left with head and arm injuries following an incident in Coventry. It happened on Station Avenue in Tile Hill.

Police were called to the city street following reports of a man being attacked at around 1.30am on Sunday (May 12). Officers attended and found a man with head and arm injuries, West Midlands Police said.



A second man was found to have suffered minor injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and have urged anyone with information to get in touch by calling 101 or using WMP Live Chat.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “We were called to Station Avenue in Coventry shortly before 1.30am on Sunday (May 12) to reports of a man being attacked.

“Officers attended and found a man with head and arm injuries, although thankfully these were not life threatening. We are investigating and keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened via Live Chat or 101 quoting crime number 20/480388/24.”

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to an incident on Station Avenue at 1.29am on Sunday (May 12). An ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance critical care vehicle attended.

“The teams discovered two patients, both men. One was involved in a collision with a car and was treated for injuries not thought to be serious. A second man suffered cuts but did not want to be evaluated and was discharged at the scene.”
