Coronation Street legend Chris Gascoyne to star in Bradford’s Christmas panto – here’s how to get tickets

A Coronation Street legend will star in Bradford’s festive panto this Christmas.

Chris Gascoyne, 56, is known to millions as Peter Barlow in Corrie. He left the popular ITV soap in 2023.




Chris will join Bradford pantomime royalty Billy Pearce in Pinocchio. It will run from 7th December to 19th January at Bradford Alhambra Theater – you can get tickets here.

Adam Renton, Managing Director of Bradford Theatres, said: “I am absolutely delighted to be adding Chris to our cast for this year’s pantomime. I’m sure audiences of all ages will thoroughly enjoy another outstanding festive show in Bradford and look forward to welcoming Chris to our city.

“There is huge affection for the Alhambra Theatre’s annual panto and in particular this year, in its 110th anniversary year, I am very proud that we will be presenting a new pantomime title, Pinocchio. With Billy Pearce at the helm, Chris will ensure that Pinocchio is bigger and better than ever, full of festive magic, spectacular effects and lots of laughs.”

On news that he is coming to Bradford this festive season, Chris said: “I can’t wait to join the cast and crew of Pinocchio and I’m so excited to meet the lovely people of Bradford this Christmas.”
