Gold falls by Rs 10, silver falls by Rs 100; yellow metals trading at Rs 72,860 | commodities

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 73,010, Rs 72,860 and Rs 72,860 respectively.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is at par with Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 66,790.

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 66,940, Rs 66,790 and Rs 66,790 respectively.

The price of a kilogram of silver in Delhi is in line with the price of silver in Kolkata and Mumbai at 84,400.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 89,400.

U.S. gold prices were steady on Monday and traded slightly below the key $2,500 an ounce level as the market awaited August inflation data for more information on an anticipated Federal Reserve rate cut this month.

Spot gold was almost unchanged at $2,497.53 an ounce as of 0021 GMT. U.S. gold futures rose 0.1 percent to $2,526.40.

Spot silver was up 0.3% at $28.01 an ounce, platinum was up 0.3% at $924.02 and palladium was up nearly 1% at $919.76.
