Japan’s PDL’s Takaichi urges “strategic” fiscal spending to support economy

Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) official and party leadership contender Sanae Takaichi said on Monday that “the strategic implementation of fiscal spending will increase jobs, household incomes and improve consumer sentiment.”

“It will also increase tax revenue without increasing the tax rate and help build a strong economy,” he added.
