The Premier League season ends on Sunday and the 2024 summer transfer window is fast approaching.

Top clubs are preparing to make a splash in the market, with Manchester United among those hoping for a busy few months. Defender Raphael Varane has already confirmed his departure when his contract expires next month, bidding farewell to Old Trafford alongside Anthony Martial after Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Newcastle.

Arsenal, too, could be busy as RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko has emerged as a top target amid reports that the Gunners would be willing to take advantage of the current no. 9 Gabriel Jesus. Real Madrid have lost interest in the Bayern Munich star

Real Madrid are said to have cooled their interest in Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies and would now prefer to re-sign Girona’s Miguel Gutierrez.

According to Cope, Real have been impressed by the Madrid defender’s performances this season, selling him to Girona in 2022.

As part of the deal, Los Blancos retained 50% of Gutierrez’s rights, making the 22-year-old a more viable option than Davies, who is entering the final 12 months of his Bayern contract.

Tuchel confirms he is leaving Bayern Munich

Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he will still leave Bayern Munich ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Hoffenheim after failing to agree a new deal with the club’s bosses.

Both sides agreed to part ways in February, but after the German giants struggled to name a replacement, a return was proposed.

However, they were unable to agree on terms.

“This is my last press conference as coach of FC Bayern,” Tuchel has just confirmed.

“There were discussions, but we did not reach an agreement … so the February decision remains in place.”

Tuchel went on to say: “The feedback over the last few weeks was the foundation for us to have a discussion to stay and continue together… but we couldn’t come to an agreement.

– I won’t list the reasons.

FULL STORY: Arsenal drop Raya transfer hint

David Raya has been spotted modeling Arsenal’s new goalkeeper kit for next season, suggesting his permanent move from Brentford is imminent.

Raya, 28, joined the Gunners on loan for the remainder of the current campaign in August and has quickly unseated Aaron Ramsdale as Mikel Arteta’s No.1. The Spain international won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award after keeping 16 clean sheets in 31 games to cap a splendid first spell in north London.

But Arteta recently cast an element of doubt over Raya’s future, claiming that Arsenal will only make a decision on triggering the £27million option to buy at the end of the campaign.

Liverpool receive a £13m boost ahead of Slot’s arrival

Liverpool could sign long-term target Khephren Thuram from Nice for just €15m (£13m) when the window opens.

French midfielder Thuram has a year left on his contract and local outlet Nice-Matin claim the Ligue 1 club are willing to cash in.

The 23-year-old was linked with a move to the Reds last summer before they signed Stuttgart ace Waturo Endo.

Thuram could mark Arne Slot’s first signing as new manager, with the current Feyenoord boss closing in on replacing Jurgen Klopp.

Arsenal have said the asking price of alternative Sesko

Arsenal can sign Bologna hotshot Joshua Zirkzee for €40m (£34m) this summer if top target Benjamin Sesko proves too expensive.

Mikel Arteta is looking to bring in a new striker to help bolster the Gunners’ attacking options, with RB Leipzig’s Sesko their ideal candidate.

Zirkzee, however, could cost half as much, reports Corriere dello Sport, who has scored 12 goals in 37 games this season to help Bologna qualify for the Champions League.

The 22-year-old former Bayern Munich prospect missed out on Holland’s Euro 2024 squad, which may fuel his desire to join a bigger club.

Bayern are understood to have a buy-out clause worth the same £34m.

Tuchel urges Bayern Munich to launch pursuit of Fernandes

Thomas Tuchel is urging Bayern Munich to make an effort to sign a playmaker this summer, with Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes top of his wish list.

It was announced in February that Bayern boss Tuchel would leave the club this summer, but he is now preparing for a return following the German’s struggles to name a replacement and the promising end to the season.

Fernandes, 29, fits the role Tuchel wants to recruit him for, according to the Independent, alongside a defensive midfielder.

Bayern saw their move for Joao Palhinha from Fulham collapse last September.
