Live: Fire and police crews at a major incident in Kingswood

Firefighters and police are at the scene of a major incident at a factory in Kingswood this morning, Tuesday 7 May. Moravian Road is closed in both directions while emergency service crews attend the incident at the Lucas Ingredients plant.

Numerous fire engines were seen at the scene, with Avon and Somerset police officers also in attendance, blocking traffic onto Moravian Road. Firefighters were seen entering and exiting the factory building this morning and an aerial ladder is being used to access the upper levels of the factory.

Fire inside the building

Avon and Somerset Police are at the scene on Moravian Road. A spokesman for the force confirmed that officers were assisting firefighters with a fire in the building.
