PURE heads to Canada to cover HNW houses

Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE) goes international for the first time with an expansion into Canada.

The mutual exchange will begin serving high net worth customers in Ontario with homeowner insurance through select brokers. Future products include auto coverage in Ontario, with expansion planned to other provinces in the future, PURE said.

“PURE is new to Canada, but we’ve been serving US high net worth members for nearly 20 years,” said Martin Leitch, CEO. “With this expansion, we are able to provide coverage solutions to existing Canadian PURE members who have trusted us to protect their US interests and to reach new members who have not yet experienced what it means to be a PURE member.”

PURE is currently one of the top insurers in the US high net worth space, offering coverage in all 50 states for high net worth home, auto, collectibles, boating, excess personal liability, fraud, cyber and flood for more than 100,000 insured. , or members.

Members benefit from broader coverage than often found in the homeowner’s market, as well as a thorough home risk assessment, PURE said.
