Joby applies for a certificate to operate commercial air transport in the UAE by Reuters

(Reuters) – Air taxi maker Joby Aviation (NYSE: ) said on Tuesday that it has applied for a certificate that will allow it to operate commercial air transport in the United Arab Emirates.

US-based Joby will develop air taxi operating manuals, undergo inspections of its facilities in the UAE and fully observe the training of pilots and aircraft mechanics as well as flight operations by the Emirates civil aviation authority United Arab Emirates as part of the process.
