Solo Bitcoin Miner secures $181,000 block reward

“It’s not a rare occurrence for a solo miner to find a block, it’s just a low-probability event,” CryptoQuant’s head of research, Julio Moreno, told CoinDesk. “However, this has happened a bit more frequently as there has been an increase in the production of small ASICs (mining equipment), which are specifically aimed at people who want to mine themselves from their own home.”
