Suspect wanted since 2018, charged with drug conspiracy

A man suspected of being involved in a drug conspiracy has been detained after being wanted by police since 2018.

Dean Ellison, formerly of Fazakerley, had been wanted by police since March that year following inquiries from an undercover investigation by Merseyside Police which took place between February and June 2017. Ellison, 35 years, he was arrested at a house in the Sefton area. yesterday, Thursday, May 16, following extensive inquiries by the force’s fugitive squad.




Ellison has since been charged with conspiring with others to supply Class A controlled drugs – cocaine and diamorphine; conspire with others to supply Class B controlled drugs – amphetamine and cannabis and conspire with others to supply a Class C controlled drug – buprenorphine.
