German stocks were mixed at the close; DAX rose 0.34% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher, while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, it was up 0.34%, while the index fell 0.24% and the index rose 0.31%.

The best performers of the session on the were Commerzbank AG ON (ETR: ), which rose 16.55% or 2.09 points to trade at 14.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (ETR: ) was up 3.04% or 2.10 points to 71.08 and Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR: ) was up 2.39% or 1 .56 points to 66.78 in late trading.

The worst performers of the session were Bayer AG NA (ETR: ), which declined 2.19% or 0.61 points to trade at 27.01 at the close. Deutsche Bank AG NA ON (ETR: ) declined 1.81% or 0.26 points to end at 14.03 and Zalando SE (ETR: ) declined 1.39% or 0.30 points to end at 21.32.

The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (ETR: ) which rose 14.65% to 7.70, Nordex SE ON (ETR: ) which rose 2.17% to settle at 14.10 and Kion Group AG (ETR: ) which gained 1.53% to close on 11/31.

The worst performers were Scout24 AG (ETR: ) which fell 2.72% to 71.40 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR: ) which lost 2.15% to settle at 15.02 and Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR: ) which fell 1.93% to 116.70 at the close.

The best performers on TecDAX were PNE Wind AG (ETR: ) which rose 2.57% to 11.16, Nordex SE ON (ETR: ) which rose 2.17% to settle at 14.10 and SUSS MicroTec SE (ETR: ) which gained 1.90% to close at 53.60.

The worst performers were Atoss Software AG (ETR: ), which fell 2.35% to 116.20 in late trade, Aixtron SE (ETR: ), which lost 2.15% to settle at 15, 02 and CompuGroup Medical AG ON (ETR: ), which fell 1.37% to 13.70 at the close.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 369 to 235, with 43 ending unchanged.

Shares in Aixtron SE (ETR:) fell to 3-year lows; losing 2.15% or 0.33 to 15.02. Shares in Aixtron SE (ETR:) fell to 3-year lows; down 2.15% or 0.33 to 15.02. Shares of CompuGroup Medical AG ON (ETR:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 1.37% or 0.19 to 13.70.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.03%, or 0.70, to $2,543.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 2.11%, or 1.39, to $67.14 a barrel, while the November Brent crude contract rose 1.66% or 1.15, to 70.34 dollars per barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.31% to 0.85.

US dollar index futures rose 0.07% to 101.67.
