FAA chief says United Airlines safety review ‘nearly finished’ Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The head of the Federal Aviation Administration said on Wednesday the agency has nearly completed the review of United Airlines it opened in March to ensure the carrier is complying with safety regulations.

The FAA has initiated a formal review of the Chicago-based airline after a series of safety incidents. FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker told reporters after a speech that the review “is almost done.”
