💥Two weeks ago, conservatives began rounding up refugees, throwing them into vans and taking them to detention centers, ready to be flown to Rwanda, East Africa. The first deportation flight to Rwanda is due to take off in a few weeks.

💥Tory racism has become on full display as we approach the local and mayoral elections in London and head towards this year’s general election. It marks a misguided escalation of racist attacks by conservatives. After fleeing poverty, repression, war and climate emergencies, refugees arrive in the UK to face hostility and racism from the British state – including Palestinian refugees, 2 detained locally at Lunar House in Croydon.

💥It is systemic and deliberate. The Tories are once again playing with people’s lives in an attempt to win votes. The Labor opposition is anything but anti-racist, proposing a fast-track deportation system themselves. We need mass protests, pickets and direct action to stop these detentions and deportations.
