Morocco stocks fall at close of trade; All Moroccan stocks were down 0.30% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Risma (CSE: ), which rose 2.54% or 5.70 points to trade at 229.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Ciments Du Maroc (CSE: ) added 2.30% or 40.00 points to end at 1,779.00 and Taqa Morocco SA (CSE: ) was up 2.19% or 28.00 points up to 1,308.00 at the end of trading.

The worst performers of the session were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: ), which declined 4.74% or 23.90 points to trade at 480.00 at the close. LafargeHolcim Maroc (CSE: ) declined 3.14% or 60.00 points to end at 1,850.00 and CIH (CSE: ) declined 2.91% or 12.00 points to 400. 00.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Casablanca Stock Exchange 23 to 20, with 8 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery rose 3.34%, or 2.25, to $69.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for November delivery rose 2.87%, or 2.03, to $72.64 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 1.45 % or 36.85, to $2,579.25 per troy ounce.

EUR/MAD rose 0.05% to 10.78, while USD/MAD was unchanged 0.02% to 9.78.

US dollar index futures fell 0.09% to 101.57.
