Microsoft names ex-GE CFO as chief operating officer Reuters

(Reuters) – Microsoft (NASDAQ: ) on Thursday named former GE CFO Carolina Dybeck Happe as chief operating officer.

Happe has been GE’s chief financial officer since March 2020 and has been instrumental in leading the company’s turnaround.

“In this newly created role, she will join the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), reporting to me,” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in a statement.
