Temu and Shein face US crackdown as Biden administration cites trade loophole abuse

The Biden-Harris administration has announced it is proposing to take regulatory action to curb what it describes as “excessive use and abuse” of a trade loophole, with senior administration officials saying they are concerned about how e-commerce giants Temu and Shein have it was based on the loophole.
