Shares in Brazil are up at the close; Bovespa rose 0.64% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Brazil equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Sao Paulo, it gained 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the were Azul SA Pref (BVMF: ), which rose 22.52% or 0.91 points to trade at 4.95 at the close. Meanwhile, CVC Brasil ON (BVMF: ) added 14.29% or 0.26 points to end at 2.08 and Braskem SA (BVMF: ) was up 7.79% or 1.40 points to 19.38 at the close transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF: ), which decreased 2.98% or 0.27 points to trade at 8.80 at the close. Atacadao SA (BVMF: ) declined 2.67% or 0.25 points to end at 9.11 and Vibra Energia SA (BVMF: ) declined 1.60% or 0.41 points to 25.28 .

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the B3 Stock Exchange by 592 to 340, with 49 ending unchanged.

Shares of Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF:) fell to a minimum; losing 2.98% or 0.27 to 8.80.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 1.09 percent, or 28.05, to $2,608.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for October delivery rose 0.38%, or 0.26%, to $69.23 a barrel, while the U.S. Coffee C contract rose 3.56% or 8.88, to $258.28.

USD/BRL fell 1.06% to 5.57, while EUR/BRL fell 0.83% to 6.17.

US dollar index futures fell 0.22% to 101.12.
