After an extended maintenance period, we are pleased to announce that MyChart is back online and reconnecting care for users at Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH).

For those who may be new to MyChart, this mobile app and online platform provides remote access to your CCH medical records, exam notes, lab results, self-tracking tools and more. Whether you’re on the go or at home, accessing your CCH-based medical information is just a tap away from your smartphone, tablet or computer using MyChart.

In addition, it allows users to share their profile with loved ones and caregivers, ensuring that those in the circle of care have accurate and timely information.

MyChart was first introduced at CCH in 2021 to improve people-centered care and empower individuals and families to take charge of their health journeys. Since then, more than 20,000 users at CCH have signed up for MyChart to manage their care efficiently.

From this week:

• All patient records previously accessible through MyChart have been restored to their previous availability.
• Medical records generated during the MyChart offline period are now available.
• New registrations are open for MyChart.

An exciting new feature is the introduction of automatic appointment reminders directly into MyChart for most CCH clinics, ensuring you never miss an appointment.

Using MyChart is safe and secure. Developed and managed by Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, one of Canada’s leading academic health sciences centres, it uses the same encryption technology as online banking. Dozens of hospitals across Canada use Sunnybrook’s MyChart service to provide greater and more secure access to medical records for patients and their families.
