Is EigenLayer ready for institutional adoption?

First, most institutions hold their assets with a qualified custodian or an institutionally focused trust wallet provider. However, the main delegation flow for replay with EigenLayer is through their user interface and requires a connection to DeFi wallets such as Metamask, Trust or Rainbow. Therefore, institutions require their custodians or wallet provider to build the necessary integrations into the Eigenlayer ecosystem so that their institution’s chosen stake provider, such as Twinstake, can also be integrated into the flow. However, to date, most institutionally focused custodians have limited EigenLayer integrations, thus blocking access to the ecosystem.
