Upgrading to the British Airways Business-Class Suite for $5,700 is worth it

  • I flew in the British Airways Club Business Class suite for the first time on a long haul flight.
  • My seat felt incredibly private, with direct aisle access and plenty of leg room.
  • My in-flight food and drinks were excellent and I had a five-star experience.

I have flown business class with a few airlines, but recently I did it for the first time with British Airways.

I booked a Club Suite in its long-haul Club World business class cabin for my nearly eight-hour flight from London Heathrow to Boston’s Logan International.

The Club Suite debuted in 2019 as part of the airline’s near program 9 billion dollar investment in improving the passenger experience. Suites are not on all British Airways flights, although the carrier plans to have them all of its long-haul aircraft based at Heathrow until the end of 2026.

The business-class suite cost $5,700 — more than double an economy seat at the time I booked. Here’s why it was worth the upgrade.
