Holland America Carnival makes the change that passengers will celebrate

Many people use cruises to celebrate life events.

It’s not uncommon to see bachelor parties on board (and often hard to miss when they’re there). Plus, more people got married at the venue and celebrated everything from birthdays to anniversaries.

Many people celebrate a major event as other passengers to know about it. It is not uncommon to see large groups wearing T-shirts with phrases such as “Oh Ship! Guess who’s 50 years old?” or “Lordy, Lordy, Steve turns 40”.

Some cruise lines also sell room decoration packages to celebrate special occasions. These may include door decorations and room improvements. These can be purchased by the person(s) celebrating or someone else to surprise them with.

“Holland America Line is launching a collection of enhanced cabin decor packages designed to elevate the onboard celebration of some of life’s most cherished milestones: birthdays and anniversaries. Guests can purchase decor packages prior to sailing and install them in their stateroom on the day of embarkation, family and friends can also purchase these guest decor selections as a surprise holiday gift,” the Carnival-owned brand said in an email.
