Greek stocks rise at close of trade; Athens General Composite rose 0.63% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Athens, it was up 0.63%.

The best performers of the session on the were Lamda Develop (AT: ), which rose 3.31% or 0.24 points to trade at 7.49 at the close. Meanwhile, Intralot (AT:) added 3.19% or 0.04 points to end at 1.17 and Public Power (AT: ) was up 3.11% or 0.35 points to trade at 11.62 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Kri-Kri Milk (AT: ) which was down 2.99% or 0.40 points to trade at 13.00 at the close. J. & P. ​​Avax (AT:) declined 0.90% or 0.01 points to end at 1.33 and Tech Olympic (AT:) decreased 0.82% or 0.02 points to 2.42.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Athens Stock Exchange 72 to 40, with 23 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.28%, or 7.30, to $2,605.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery rose 0.90%, or 0.63, to $70.51 a barrel, while the November Brent crude contract rose 0.84% or 0.62, to 74.27 dollars per barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.20% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures rose 0.39% to 100.68.
