Ethereum developers confirm plan to split ‘Pectra’ upgrade into two

The decision to split the upgrade was not unexpected. The developers previously discussed that Pectra was becoming too ambitious to ship all at once and expressed a desire to split it to minimize the risk of finding bugs in the code.
