Gold price falls by Rs 10 to Rs 74,440, silver falls by Rs 100 to Rs 90,900 | commodities

Gold price today: The price of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 10 in early trade on Friday, with ten grams of the precious metal trading at Rs 74,440, according to website GoodReturns. Silver prices fell by Rs 100, with a kilogram of the precious metal selling at Rs 90,900.

The price of 22 carat gold fell by Rs 10, with ten grams of the yellow metal selling at Rs 68,240.

The price of ten grams of 24 carat gold in Mumbai is in line with Kolkata and Hyderabad prices at Rs 74,440.

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 74,590, Rs 74,440 and Rs 74,440 respectively.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is at par with Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 68,240.

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 68,390, Rs 68,240 and Rs 68,240 respectively.

Silver price in Delhi is in line with Kolkata and Mumbai silver price at 90,900.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 95,900.

Spot gold was steady at $2,586.98 an ounce as of 0028 GMT, up about 0.4 percent for the week so far.

Spot silver was flat at $30.76 an ounce, platinum was down 0.4% at $984.90 and palladium was down 0.3% at $1,077.75.
