Why we won’t see CBDCs everywhere

So I understand why, if you look at CBDCs as a tool to reduce these costs, you would prefer to continue their development. But the fact remains that to fix cross-border payments through CBDC, you should rely on strong global geopolitical relationships. And unfortunately, we don’t have them. The world is too fragmented, too undisciplined, to allow CBDC to be implemented globally.
