Liverpool vs Wolves tickets are already attractively priced ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s farewell at Anfield

Liverpool are preparing to say goodbye to manager Jurgen Klopp, who is set to take charge in his final game with the club on Sunday afternoon as they host Wolves at Anfield – but not all Reds supporters have their hands on a ticket.

The German boss’ nine-year spell with the club was confirmed to end earlier this season, with Klopp’s final season in charge coming with a second League Cup win and a third-place finish in what was a dramatic Premier League run. Race to the league title.

It will no doubt be a full house at Anfield, with visitors Wolves receiving an allocation of just over 2,500 tickets. However, if you’re a Liverpool fan and want to go to the game this weekend, you might have to cough up more than you originally expected. While there are still chances for club members to purchase tickets from the club’s official website, third-party sites and resellers have seats listed at exorbitant prices.

According to website Ticombo, the cheapest seats available are in the Anfield Road End for a steady £200, while some seats in the Main Stand, close to the dugout for Klopp’s final game with the club, have a staggering price of £7,000 – almost eight times the price of an adult season ticket in the main stand.

There’s unlikely to be a dry eye in the stands when the Reds boss walks out of the tunnel for the final time, but when it’s all said and done, many aren’t sure what Klopp will do with his newfound free time. Fortunately for him, it’s pretty much the same – watching football.

“I’ve got an invitation now for the Champions League final,” he admitted earlier this week. “They said, ‘I don’t think he’ll come’, but of course I’ll come, it’s the Champions League final and I’ve got nothing to do really!
