German stocks rise at close of trade; DAX rose 0.58% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, it added 0.58%, while the index rose 0.53% and the index rose 0.30%.

The best performers of the session on the were Zalando SE (ETR: ), which rose 3.17% or 0.85 points to trade at 27.68 at the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR: ) was up 2.88% or 0.93 points to 33.23 and RWE AG ST ON (ETR: ) was up 2.77% or 0.86 points to 31.94 in late trade the transaction.

The worst performers of the session were Commerzbank AG ON (ETR: ), which declined 5.68% or 0.89 points to trade at 14.78 at the close. BASF SE NA ON (ETR: ) declined 1.89% or 0.87 points to 45.15 and Merck KGaA (ETR: ) declined 1.27% or 2.00 points to 155.55 .

The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR: ) which rose 4.43% to 31.36, Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (ETR: ) which rose 3.71% to settle at 2.77 and Hypoport AG (ETR: ) which gained 2.99% to close at 275.20.

The worst performers were Aurubis AG (ETR: ) which fell 10.13% to 63.00 in late trade, Gerresheimer AG (ETR: ) which lost 2.17% to 96.95 and HelloFresh SE (ETR: ) which fell 2.06% to 8.28 at the close.

Top performers on the TecDAX were SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR: ) which rose 2.81% to 17.90, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR: ) which rose 2.75% to settle at 58 .00 and SUSS MicroTec SE (ETR: ) which gained 2.11% to close at 58.10.

The worst performers were Evotec AG ON (ETR: ), which fell 3.58% to 5.79 in late trade, Elmos Semiconductor AG (ETR: ) which lost 3.43% to settle at 62.00 and Jenoptik AG ( ETR:) which fell 2.02% to 26.16 at the close.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 366 to 257, with 28 ending unchanged.

Shares in Zalando SE (ETR: ) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.17% or 0.85 to 27.68. Shares of Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) rose to 3-year highs; up 2.88% or 0.93 to 33.23.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.28%, or 7.30, to $2,653.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery fell 1.32%, or 0.94, to $70.06 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.09% or 0.80, to 72.89 dollars per barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.31% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.57% to 0.83.

US dollar index futures rose 0.12% to 100.54.
