Columbia stocks rise at close of trade; COLCAP rose 0.10% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the end in Colombia, it rose by 0.10%.

The best performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: ), which rose 7.42% or 1,900.00 points to trade at 27,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Celsa SA (BVC: ) added 3.51% or 135.00 points to end at 3,980.00 and Mineros SA (BVC: ) was up 3.00% or 105.00 points to trade at 3,600.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos SA (BVC: ), which fell 4.46% or 350.00 points to trade at 7,500.00 at the close. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:) declined 3.31% or 2,160.00 points to 63,000.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:) declined 1.67% or 200.00 points to 11,800.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in Mineros SA (BVC:) rose to a 52-week high; up 3.00% or 105.00 to 3,600.00.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 5.00% or 12.55 to $263.30. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery rose 1.55% or 119.00 to hit $7,777.00, while December gold futures rose 0.26% or 7.00 to trade at $2,653.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.01% at 4,162.13, while BRL/COP was down 0.37% at 751.07.

US dollar index futures rose 0.23% to 100.65.
