FSLA appoints new directors for 2024-2025

The Florida Surplus Lines Association, which finds itself providing a safety valve for Florida’s property insurance industry, named new officers for 2024-2025 at its recent annual convention in Tampa.

  • President Elect: Albert Geraci, Risk Placement Services
  • Treasurer: Tonya Rivera, Johnson & Johnson
  • Secretary: Bresch McCarthy, Hull & Company
  • Directed by: Chris Siegel, Burns & Wilcox
  • Director: Darren Marsh, SLB Insurance Group
  • Director: Amanda Ruppel, CRC Group
  • Insurance Company Representative: Joshua Baron, Navigators, a The Hartford brand
  • Insurance company representative: Ana Daves, Nautilus Insurance
  • Representative of young agents: Marianne Correa, Speciality RT
  • Young Agents Representative: Ricky Kopec, Johnson & Johnson
  • Retail agent representative: John Vratsinas, Atlantic Specialty Risk

“When I opened the Florida office for Tapco nearly 30 years ago, one of the best pieces of advice I received was to join the Florida Surplus Lines Association,” Clancy said in a statement.

The organization also announced that it will expand its continuing education offerings for members in 2025 and introduce a mentoring program to help foster a new leader in surplus lines.
