Highstreet acquires Mitchell agency in Florida

Michigan-based Highstreet Insurance Partners has acquired Mitchell Agency, based in Largo, Fla., near St. Petersburg.

Highstreet said in a press release that the Florida agency and its eight employees will be under the leadership of Gulf Regional President Vin Stazzone.

Highstreet was founded in 2018 and has steadily expanded across the country through mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. In July, Highstreet continued its Bay Area expansion with the acquisition of Flagler Insurance Agency in Palm Beach, Florida.

The Mitchell Agency has been in business for more than 70 years, providing business, home and flood insurance products.
