Leeds United midfielder Glen Kamara has been outstanding since joining the club from Rangers, and there will be more additions to the Glasgow side if the Whites are promoted.

Leeds are one game away from promotion back to the Premier League after emphatic beating Norwich City four goals to nil on Thursday night.

A flawless performance from back to front meant Leeds were on cloud nine as they left Elland Road on Thursday night, now a game away from returning to the Premier League.

Glen Kamara additions due to Rangers if Leeds go up

A report from Rangers Review reveals that Leeds’ £5m deal to sign Glen Kamara from Rangers in the Scottish Premiership last season comes with extras.

Should Leeds win promotion at Wembley next month, they will have to owe the Glasgow side a further £500,000 in add-ons.

Such a fee for the Gers would be 10% on top of the initial fee to sign the Finland international in August 2023.

Glen Kamara v Norwich City stats

Kamara returned to the starting line-up at the perfect time for Leeds, adding much-needed composure and guile in possession to routinely pick Norwich’s midfield.

Not only that, but the Finn was a key part of Leeds’ out-of-possession plan to get in front of Norwich’s forwards, stepping up to win the ball and spark transitions for Leeds, who cut through the away side with ease .

Money well spent on Glen Kamara, he was phenomenal

Kamara is one of the most underrated players in this Leeds squad and that was shown by the reaction to his performance in the first leg.

He was the best player on the pitch, but a few misplaced passes made people think that wasn’t the case.

His performance in this second leg was even better and if we have to shell out another £500,000 after promotion it will be money well spent.
