Costco reports mixed fourth-quarter results as revenue misses Investing.com estimates

Investments – Costco reported mixed results for the fourth quarter on Thursday as earnings beat but revenue fell below analysts’ estimates.

Costco Wholesale Corp (NASDAQ: ) was less than 1% lower in aftermarket hours.

Costco Wholesale earned fiscal Q4 $5.29 a share on revenue of $79.69 billion, compared with estimates of $5.08 on revenue of $79.93 billion.

Adjusted comparable sales in the quarter were 6.9%, with US, Canadian and international growth of 6.3%, 7.9% and 9.3%, respectively.

E-commerce-adjusted comparable sales rose 19.5% in the quarter.
