The cult comedy returns with three new episodes

A long-running BBC comedy returns with new episodes filmed 36 years after it first aired. Red Dwarf, created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, first aired on BBC2 in 1988.

The sci-fi comedy has filmed over 60 episodes and a long-running special, with new content last airing in 2020.




Robert Llewellyn, who plays Kryten, told British Comedy Guide: “We knew we were going to do more Red Dwarf and we’re actually doing it now from mid-October to mid-November this year. A 90-minute special. , three and a half hours So yes, we do more.

He added: “I can’t believe I agreed to do it, I’m crazy. I’m much too old.”

Red Dwarf has aired 12 seasons so far, including a special series Back to Earth and the 2020 long-running The Promised Land. The show stars Craig Charles, Robert Llewellyn, Chris Barrie and Danny John-Jules. It is not yet known where the show will air.
